005 - 2020-01-21_15-07 (GIFs created July-October 2019): all about lasers and learning/teaching about electromagnetism!

These GIFs were created as I learned about the importance of lasers and my fascination with their power led me to create GIFs illustrating the nature of atomic structures and electromagnetism.

Surely quartz stone and other light-refracting rock is the source of our understanding of light and color.

Lasers are powerful!

Laser light is safe.

One of the most difficult parts of getting two beams to align with distance is overcoming gravity waves and other forces like the effects of dark energy.

I thought lasers only used sub-red (into the infrared? lol) light wavelengths. Lasers can use any light color when they need to.

Surely the fabric of space is composed of some repeating, uniform order (like a grid) except that with all the sub-atomic particles flowing through space, the appearance of the grid is probably most like an ocean rather than a fixed grid.

All objects travelling through space with a gravitational pull look like the GIF below (a helix).

Based on the GIFs above, using the classical image of a sphere with rings to illustrate atoms sure seems dated! Though it isn't because it is simply a different way to visualize the same thing.
